Deck the Halls!!!

Here are some of the cousins kids on Mike's side of the family. Not all but quite a few! This was taken on Thanksgiving after they broke the pinata!


We made gingerbread houses, Mike and Joel had a little trouble getting theirs together! You can't see in the picture but they had toothpicks and other stuff holding the roof up! But I have to say it turned out pretty cute!

You can tell Cienna likes profection! She took her time and with a little help from mom it looked great!

Delaney did great on hers, when it started to fall she just poured on more and more frosting! It worked! They all are still standing, minus a few of the candies!!

Delaney and Joel spent most of the afternoon making a snowman! It was getting dark when they finally told me they were done! You can kind of see it's face, They said they couldn't find anything to make a face for it so they just dug out a few holes! They had a great time!

The tree is decked, and the presents are still wrapped-- so far!

The punch tree is counting down the days til santa comes! So exciting! When Joel counts we still have about "62 Days" left! So the girls help him recount! Excitment is in the air. Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!

A week of Halloween Fun!

We started off the week with Carving the Pumpkins! Don't they look scary? the pumpkins I mean!


Joel would pretend to eat the guts but he wouldn't put his hand in the pumpkin! He said it was too gross!

Tues. we had a harvest dinner, Good food Good company. Then on Wed. we had a little party at our playgroup we go to! Here are the three amigos! Hunter Joel and Casey!

Thurs. Joel's class party! Here they all are ready to get sugared up!

The school spook parade! The whole school marches through each classroom and then they march around the gym!

Sat trick or treating and sun finally a day of rest!!!! On top of all this each kid took their turn with the stomach flu! Then Mike and I got it Mon. But the good news no one had to miss any of their class parties and it was sure a fun week!

Fall Days!

Cienna was the smart one and stayed as far away as she could! But Delaney and Joel had a war!

Getting him back! Yes I have a lot of laundry to do now, and they had fun for awhile then the crying started of course!

Cienna hiding in the leaves so she won't get hit! What a beautiful time of year, the weather was just right and the kids were enjoying the beautful day while Mike blew out the sprinkler system! The storms are supposed to hit this week, we have been lucky this year and were able to get all our crops out with good yields! Mike is now helping out all the other farmers it is so nice to live in a place where we can all help each other out!

This is a smaller wheel, you can kind of see it in the picture. This is off by one of the entrances.


























This is one of the "secret" underground entrances, We were able to go exploring off the beaten path and find these again I was told they were to special rooms. The opening have gotten smaller over the years or maybe I just got bigger! It was fun to be able to show them to my kids, most people don't even know they are there!

We made it to the top 1.5 miles to get there! I think that Mike and Joel are still hiking up the hill.

We had so much fun helping Delaney with her medicine wheel project, we decided to take a trip up the mountain to see the real one-now that there is not as many tourist around! It was a beautiful drive up the mountain we went up the Lovell side which we normally don't do, the fall colors were beautiful! What an awesome place to live.

I'm not sure if the kids or my nephew had more fun at Rumble Park, It kinda looks like he is getting whipped by a 4 year old!?

Everyone piled in for a picture! What a fun place for a party and the best thing is almost everyone is asleep now and they didn't wreck my house!

Cienna turned 8 on the fourth of Sept. She thought it would be fun for her and I to go have a girls day. she picked manicures and pedicures! Did I mention I don't like feet, or my feet being touched!? But I stepped up to the plate! The manicure was fine and nice and the feet wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Cienna loved it she almost fell asleep while getting it done! Me not so much!

Then we took her friends and went to Rumble Park in Cody for more birthday fun! Everyone got really worn out and mom gets the night off cuz everybody is sleeping and its not even 6:00. The only bad things is now I have to have this much fun for the other 2 birthdays, or maybe thats not so bad?

Delaney is in the fourth grade at school. I loved the 4th grade, that is the year you learn wyoming history. She has started off the year with projects that we have been having fun with. She made a solar oven (that I forgot to get a picture of) out of a shoe box and other supplies. She had to cook a smore in it, it seemed to work she brought it home and there was melted chocolate and marshmallow all over it! That was fun to do.

She also had to pick one of several projects to do with history and she picked to make a model of the medicine wheel. It was a little harder than it looked on paper but it was fun to help her with that, it had to have all 28 spokes, and she glued on every little rock, with a little help. so much fun, I can't wait to see what comes up next!

school

Joel started preschool today! Very sad day to see my baby, a big boy now getting on the bus. He has been watching for the bus all morning and was just sure that it was never going to come. I wish I took a picture of his face when he saw the bus come around the corner!


Here is all three ready for school! Don't they look excited and happy for school, they really weren't!

The girls had two backpacks and Delaney had a walmart sack with stuff that still wouldn't fit! I can't believe how much "stuff" they need for elementary school, I'm afaid to see how much stuff they will need in high school!

So my afternoons will be lonely now, I should get a lot done, but I will probably just nap?? I wish!

Girls Night!

Hali and I thought it would be fun to take the girls to the drive in, in Powell. The movie was Ramona and Beezus very cute movie by the way! The girls were very excited!


This is just some of the "healthy" food we just had to have cuz what is a movie without junkfood? We also had candy and that popcorn we bought 2 that size (it had free refills) how many refills did we get?? 4 yes FOUR no dieting that night! But it was well worth it!

Cienna didn't quite make it through the movie she missed about the last 45min of it. Pop and skittles, who needs a teddy bear to sleep? It was a late night but so much fun!
