Happy Halloween!

 We let the kids each pick a friend and took them to the corn maze! Then we all went out to A&W for hot dogs and Ice cream,yes we are crazy!!

 I tried a new recipe for caramel~ You just put a can of sweetened condensed milk and boil it for 3 hours and there you have it!! so yummy!!

They had an awesome first year! Delaney was even moved up to the seventh greade team for the ternament! she was so excited! they even won! Next up basketball!!

Happy 10th Birthday Cienna!

Cienna had a fun 10th birthday! She had her friends over after school on her actual birthday and they got to ride the ponies, they all had a blast! then we had all the family over to celebrate again yummy food and good company! I can't believe she is 10! Where does the time go??? We love you lots Cienna Vivian!

 So imagine getting done baling the hay (in the middle of the night) walking back to your pickup and you hear a sound coming from the bale of hay!? Then you see something move!? RUN then go back and check it out!

 Then you go get your wife to gross her out a little, and for her to take a picture of this!!

Turns out it was 2 snakes and yes we killed them not because they were stuck and suffering but we killed them because they were SNAKES!!  They were water snakes but LONG water snakes! Now if he wants my help out in the field I think I need carried to and from the tractor! small price to pay for help I think!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!

 Joel has been crazy about ghosts lately, he watches the TV shows about them and he also found some stories that some high schoolers did in Cody at the Museum and at Old Trail Town. He has been begging to go to Old Trail Town ever since! So for my birthday we decided to play tourist and go for the tour.

 Joel was sure we had to wait until night time to see anything but he entered each cabin with anticipation of ghosts!

 He was getting kinda mad about half way through and thought that we should just hide out somewhere until night.

 We thought that maybe the hearse wagon might hold some clues to the past, but no!

 We went all the way through and no ghosts we did however buy a ghost story book for bedtime stories?? I think he is crazy but he loves it??

 Then we went mini golfing, cheated the whole way through and had a great time!

We finished it all off with China Town for dinner! It was a great day and I guess that we can just hope for ghosts another day!?
